The plot: Sheila, a young woman grappling with suicidal thoughts, discovers that a tanning bed in a nail salon is a time machine. Traveling back 24 hours, she relives the best date night of her life over and over, only to decide that her boyfriend, Gary, needs some fixing. Unaware that meddling with the past could ruin the future, Sheila goes even further back in time to turn him into the perfect man — even though he was already pretty perfect.
This movie was really great.
Pros: I enjoyed the love affair & chemistry between Kaley Cuoco & Pete Davidson. How this film explore many different types within relationships over the course from the film and I’m glad the final endin with a happy ending.
Cons: Sometimes it got confusing to me with what I was watching and me flicking between the computer and my phone back-and-forth.
The Casts:
- Kaley Cuoco as Sheila
- Pete Davidson as Gary
- Deborah S. Craig as June
In addition, Kevin Corrigan is Phil the bartender, Rock Kohli is Amit the waiter and Hari Nef is Chai the ice cream vendor; all three have extended screen time in the mid-credits montage of scene variations.
I recommend watching this film on Prime Video.
