Plot: Henry is an ordinary man with an extraordinary gift, a gene that allows him to travel through time involuntarily. Claire, his wife, finds it difficult to cope with his ability.

The Time Traveller’s Wife series was a hit-and-miss experience for me.

Pros: Both Rose Leslie and Theo James played a nice couple and were believable. There are amusing and emotional times throughout the series.

Cons: There is too much time travel and jumping back and forth that distracts from my enjoyment of the series. There were far too many shots of Henry’s arse cheek on screen. I thought most of the storytelling was quite mediocre.

Casts & Crew:

Main:

  • Rose Leslie as Clare Abshire
    • Everleigh McDonell as young Clare
    • Caitlin Shorey as pre-teen Clare
  • Theo James as Henry DeTamble
    • Jason David as young Henry
    • Brian Altemus as teen Henry

Recurring:

I would recommend watching this series to anyone who saw the 2009 movie based on the same story or read the book.

Rating: 5 out of 10 Stars
