The plot: Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the Egyptian gods — and imprisoned just as quickly — Black Adam is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.

This was one of my most anticipated film of this year.

The Black Adam Movie was Descent.

Pros: The film was so action-packed with so much slow motion. Dwayne Johnson did well with this film version of Black Adam with what he was given. The one Justice Society of America (JSA) member that stood out to me was Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Fate. I like some of the music was used and it had a lot going on but somehow manages to be enough to still enjoy myself tonight & (Spoiler-Alert) the mid-credit sense was great.

Cons: The rest of the Justice Society of America (JSA) was pretty disposable (The JSA should have their own movie or TV Show instead).  The villain Sabbac was really bad.My reason why I didn’t rate this one highly because the negative response from all the DC news this year.

Cast & Characters:

Additionally, Mohammed Amer portrays Karim, Adrianna’s brother, while James Cusati-Moyer portrays Samir, a colleague of Adrianna and Karim. Several actors also reprise their roles from previous DCEU media, including Djimon Hounsou as ShazamViola Davis as Amanda WallerJennifer Holland as Emilia Harcourt, and Henry Cavill as Kal-El / Clark Kent / Superman, the latter in an uncredited cameo appearance during the mid-credit sceneHenry Winkler cameos via FaceTime as Atom Smasher’s uncle Al Pratt, the previous Atom who lent the suit to Albert.

I am recommended anyone watching this film to anyone who is feeling down seeing anything related to the DC brand.

Rating: 2.5 out of 5 Stars
