The plot: The Turtles are put to the test when a mysterious stranger named Casey Jones arrives from the future to warn the mutant brothers of an impending invasion of the most dangerous alien force in the galaxy — the Krang.
This film was 50/50 to me.
Pros: I came to appreciate this film after watching it delivered what I expected of this animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie. I feel most of my investment into Casey Jones, and what’s going on with him. The action scenes are non-stop and awesome.
Cons: You needed to appreciate the series of this fourth animated incarnation of TMNT, Before sitting down to watch this film. Otherwise, you don’t have any idea what’s going on in the storyline. A huge chunk of the film was so fast-paced you feel your missing bits.
I don’t get why this movie wasn’t streamed on Paramount+ instead of Netflix. What a missed opportunity.
