The plot: Krypto the Super-Dog and Superman are inseparable best friends, sharing the same superpowers and fighting crime side by side in Metropolis. However, when the Man of Steel and the rest of the Justice League are kidnapped, Krypto must convince a ragtag group of animals to master their own newfound powers for a rescue mission.

I was hoping this film doesn’t ending up sucking after seeing this film.

This movie was surprisingly good.

Pros: This film explored the themes of friend / relationships and “what it means to have a pet”. The Justice League play as supportive roles in the main storyline. I liked how this film builds on the connection between Superman and Krypto throughout and the voice acting were alright.

Cons: I don’t like this animation style they used for all the characters in this movie. This film was just another place of content squeezed out of the DC Brand for Kids and the action were mediocre or Okay.

Cast & Characters:

I would recommend this film to any families out there.

Rating: 3 out of 5 Stars
