The plot: A broke student who plays an obscure 1980s survival computer game in pursuit of an unclaimed $100,000 prize. After a series of unexpectedly terrifying moments, she soon realises she’s no longer playing for the money, but for her own life.
This was the other film I watch today right after seeing The Gray Man.
The Choose or Die movie was a let-down.
Pros: The film does well with building tension in this film. Adding Robert Englund voicing his scary voice made it scary to listen too. It does remind me like Truth and Dare mix with Saw & also felt like a superhero origin movie at times.
Cons: I was disappointed with the failure of not going through with the premise of this film. It is lacking character, death and the horror didn’t feel that scary or impactful.

- Iola Evans as Kayla, a college dropout working as a window cleaner who is drawn into the nightmarish world of CURS>R
- Asa Butterfield as Isaac, Kayla’s friend

- Angela Griffin as Thea, Kayla’s mother

- Kate Fleetwood as Laura
