The Magic Faraway Tree Movie Review by Ryan Balkwill

Plot: A modern family relocates to the countryside where the children discover a magical tree with eccentric residents. They’re transported to fantastical lands, rekindling their family bond through adventures.

This film was Really Good.

Pros: Its worth seeing Andrew Garfield in a fatherly role other than spiderman. The kids were very likeable & a joy to watch. I was impressed with the magic faraway trees that can go to other worlds. I like the storyline. I like its message about all ways keep believing in imagination & How resourceful and cheerful the tone was throughout.

Cons: Rebecca Fergusson’s Dame Snap wasn’t that terrorizing as a villain. The lines were corny and I was expecting more from the ending.
