Boy Kills World (2023) Movie Review by Ryan Balkwill (Spoiler Free)

Plot: Boy is a mayhem machine who’s been training to assassinate the bloodthirsty Hilda Van Der Koy and avenge his family’s murder; guided by his sister’s mischievous spirit, Boy uncovers one stunning revelation after another as he barrels toward Hilda.

This film was Mixbag.

Pros: It’s succeeded trending dark comedy, humour with the action. By the way, The action is fast-paced and very violent. It does remind me of bit of The Hunger Games. Bill Skarsgård did really well playing a different character instead of Pennywise. I like having the main character having a inner monologue in his head sounded like archer. Its premise is easy to follow and I was caught on guard by the big huge twist its surprised me.

Cons: The filming of the action was too fastly edit. Many of there side characters didn’t get fresh out that much. It doesn’t know where to end & A lot of time been washed for quick fight scenes.

  • Jessica Rothe as June 27 / Mina Van Der Koys, an enforcer working for the Van Der Koys
    • Quinn Copeland as young Mina, Boy’s younger sister
