The plot: After escaping from prison, former soldier and professional thief Jeffrey Manchester finds a hideout inside a Toys “R” Us, surviving undetected for months while planning his next move. However, when Jeffrey falls for a divorced mom, his double life starts to unravel, setting off a compelling and suspenseful game of cat and mouse as his past closes in.
This movie was realty good.
Pros: I was impressed on how charismatic and likeable Jeffrey Manchester turns out to be. The premise is absurd and outrageous. Channing Tatum was so good as the lead. Kirsten Dunst was good as Jeffrey’s love interest. At moments I enjoy the Toys “R” Us portions of the film. There was some laugh out loud moments throughout & A lot of crebit to the director Derek Cianfrance bringing this story to the big screen.
Cons: It does glad sometimes in the 2nd act. It doesn’t go deeply into his time in prison that much & It did felt predictable when you know the outcome.
