Goosebumps Season 2 Review by Ryan Balkwill

Plot: When twins Devin and Cece are sent to spend a summer in Gravesend, Brooklyn with their divorced dad, scientist Anthony Brewer, they must band together with new friends to save the neighborhood from a long-dormant threat.

Season 2 of Goosebumps was Hit & misses.

Pros: I like David Schwimmer as the father to discover this Allen lifeform. How it still follows the same structure as last season did. I was invested in the mystery quite well. It had a lot of intense and dramatic electric moments spread throughout and the practical effects were done well.

Cons: The jump scares didn’t feel scary enough. I find the new kids are hit & miss. Certain moments could have been done better & the final confrontations ended climatically.
