Plot: Season two finds new parents Ava and Nathan Bartlett three months into parenthood. Focused on taking care of her family, Ava is determined to resist her true crime obsession and return to work as a real estate agent while Nathan trains private tennis clients.
Season 2 of Based on a True Story was Surprisingly good.
Pros: There are many humorous moments all being delivered by Kaley Cuoco herself. I like how this season was such a roller coaster ride with it mix of dark humour & twists. Both Kaley & Chris brought their a-game. Theres a lot of blood shed throughout. Tom Bateman’s Matt Pierce was the best character this season because of how much of a character arc he has been through. How it plays on addiction and obsession of true crime, fixation & hallucination and It gets you hooked in when the series was progressing.
Cons: In certain moments I got lost where things were heading. It relied on a lot of clichés that didn’t need to be there in my opinion.
