Saturday Night Movie Review by Ryan Balkwill

The plot: Shipwrecked on a deserted island, a robot named Roz must learn to adapt to its new surroundings. Building relationships with the native animals, Roz soon develops a parental bond with an orphaned gosling.

I was most looking forward to this film.

The Saturday night film was good.

Pros: I like a lot of the making of what it took to put Saturday Night Live on the air. A lot of this is fast-paced and full of crispy dialogue. I’m surprised I saw someone did a good Jim Henson lookalike. I like a lot of the performances associated with this film. They nailed the facial touch/look of the time where SNL began and having the main song at the end was worth it.

Cons: At times I didn’t connect mostly as I thought. It felt different to what I’m seen before & it didn’t had time to show from each cast member property.
