The Boys Season 4 Review by Ryan Balkwill

Plot: The world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under Homelander’s muscly thumb as he consolidates his power. Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son, and his job as The Boys’ leader. The rest of the team are fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they must find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.

Season 4 of The Boys was good.

Pros: I’m surprised how well of a character growth for Butcher, Hughie, Mother’s Milk, A-train, Annie January & Homelander specifically. Jeffrey Dean Morgan was great in his role. A lot of this season felt like build-up for season 5 but also manage to be its own thing. Firecracker & Sister Sage were worthy editions to the seven this season. This season had it’s fair shine from intense moments throughout. Cameron Crovetti was a standout as Ryan Butcher and the finale surprised me.

Cons: I didn’t get into the feeling of where the season was going at the start. The Deep & Black Noir 2 didn’t do that much for me. The shocks were lesser this time around & this season felt like the weakest out of the 3.
