Netflix’s Supacell Season 1 Review by Ryan Balkwill

Plot: When five ordinary South Londoners discover they have extraordinary powers, it’s down to one man to bring them together to save the woman he loves.

Season 1 of Supacell was Good.

Pros: Having this series cast been played by all black actors that did help grand this series more attention in my opinion. I like how they highlight housing projects, street gangs, working class poem & also issues like racism and prejudice. It’s fully into the action drama so well. I like how everyone had superhero powers already in the beginning and I like how well directed &                      well choreography the show was.

Cons: The dialogue did ignore the hell out of me at times. There used everything we used you see in every superhero media. It’s a miss opportunity giving more insight of the main villains are. And I find the power move sets underwhelming to me.
