Plot: After standing up to the human race following the events of the film, Frank and his friends establish a safe haven dubbed “Foodtopia”. Following a massive flood that destroys their once promised land, they have no choice but to partner with humans to ensure the survival of their race.
This miniseries was solid enough.
Pros: It does develop their characters even further. The series doesn’t shy away for better raunchy & crude. I’m glad they got the voice cast back. Theirs a lot of conflict going on & I like how they slowly grow their own community which comes with problems.
Cons: There’s a lot of food puns & shocking food sex behaviour that got too much. There wasn’t like a main storyline going throughout the series except from who’s going to run a major of Floatopia and the outcome of the last episodes were predictable and obvious and also this is not for children.

Main:
- Seth Rogen as Frank, a sausage who discovered and exposed the truth about the “Great Beyond”, he later became the leader of Foodtopia.
- Kristen Wiig as Brenda Bunson, a hot dog bun who is Frank’s love interest, she later became co-leader of Foodtopia. She dies in the seventh episode when she fought Julius in a kitchen sink while Jeri turns the garbage disposal and faucet on which shreds Brenda’s bottom half, as well as melting her top half. Frank then mourned her demise afterwards.
- Michael Cera as Barry, a small deformed sausage who is one of Frank’s friends, he later became chief of police seeking lawbreakers at Foodtopia.
- Edward Norton as Sammy Bagel Jr., a neurotic Jewish bagel who had a relationship with Lavash. After Lavash’s death, he becomes a comedian talk show host for Foodtopia.
- David Krumholtz as Kareem Abdul Lavash, a Middle Eastern lavash who had a relationship with Sammy. He was unfortunately killed off during the uprising, leaving Sammy heartbroken.
- Will Forte as Jack, a surviving human who Frank and Brenda kept alive in order to learn about humanity such as weather, ravenous animals, and politics. Due to becoming a ally of food, he resorts to Cannibalism to avoid eating them.
- Sam Richardson as Julius, a tyrannical orange who uses his charms and wealth of human teeth to gain followers in order to take over Foodtopia. His name is a reference to Orange Julius, while also sharing the name of Julius Caesar and a parody of Donald Trump. He was stopped by Frank when he kicks him and farts Jeri out of him, freeing him of her control.
- Stephanie Beard as Jeri Rice, a tiny grain of rice whose existence was ignored due to her miniature height, during the collapse at the Shopwell’s store, she takes control over Julius and plots vengeance against the food who ignored her. She dies in the eighth episode where a crow swoops down and eats her as she was going to reconcile for her actions. She was the true main antagonist of the series.
- Scott “Diggs” Underwood as Gum, a Stephen Hawking-esque intelligent but paraplegic wad of chewed gum who wears glasses and has a mechanized wheelchair. After the founding of Foodtopia, he sacrifices himself to save his friends from a flood by blocking a sewer drain with his own body, which caused his head to fall off.
Additionally, Natasha Rothwell, Yassir Lester and Grey DeLisle[5] have been cast in undisclosed roles.
I recommend watching this series on Prime Video.
