56 Days Season 1 Review by Ryan Balkwill

Plot: Ciara and Oliver, who fall into an intense, deceptive relationship. After 56 days, a decomposed body is found in Oliver’s apartment, prompting a homicide investigation. The series explores themes of toxic romance and secrets.

Season 1 of 56 Days was not that good.

Pros: I like how it keeps focus on the on again off again relationship between Ciara & Oliver. Credit for Dove Cameron playing a different role than what she playing mostly. It does deliver bringing sexy, twisty and eerie. Episodes 7 and 8 were the highlights of the series for me in my opinion & the turns & twists were cool to see.

Cons: The story in parts were way too modelled. I find the murder mystery invoicing Jane & Karl was forgettable & drags on with no occlusion. The acting are not that expire and overall the season is too familiar & over dramatic.
