Plot: Restless in the Florida Keys, Etta Tiger Jonze dreams of a life in Miami’s glittering, subtropical kingdom. But when her family’s drug-running business shatters in tragedy, she embarks on a dangerous journey through the city’s neon-lit underbelly. With the help of her new friends Lovely and Stanley, Etta sets out to take down one of the city’s most powerful cartels. As the cartel’s ambitions threaten Miami and internal rivalries erupt, her pursuit for revenge will push her to the edge, defining who she is and what she’s ultimately capable of.
Season 1 of M.I.A. was Quite Good.
Pros: The story was easy to follow. Shannon Gisela was believable as Etta who wants revenge. I like how this series represents Miami in all its gorgeousness. They goes deeply focus into the Miami underworld. Danay Garcia did well playing both Lech & Carmen. It leans hard into its intensity & violence. & How it kept me intrigued with there back stabbing / betrayals & shocks.
Cons: All of the drama involving the Rojas family really gotten predictable. A lot of supported characters were a mixed bag. The dialogue was difficult to understand or unclear. I didn’t enjoy the lengths because they stretched the structure too long & I wish it wad a Mini-series instead of a full length one.
