The plot: The forbidden love between 18-year-old Noah and her stepbrother Nick faces challenges as they pursue different paths, him in business and her at Oxford, while dealing with new relationships and secrets.
I was looking forward to this sequel.
This sequel was fine.
Pros: Nick & Noah back and forth drama had me invested. Briar was a fun character. I like all the bonding moments with all of Nick & Noah’s friends throughout the film. Some of the storylines do carry on from the previous film & I’m surprised it doesn’t end on a happy not.
Cons: The plot this time around goes fully romantic generic drama. The writing was not that great. There wasn’t a lot of fighting or car racing. It does feel a drag by the second act to me. & Sophia was a gold digger.
