Storyline: Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2, titled “Showdown,” features a Norse-themed conflict where players join Team Foundation or Team Ice King, following the Ice King freezing the Foundation to check his power. The story revolves around the Dark Voyager’s search for Zero Point Shards to open portals to other realities.

Showdown was Really Good but not great.

Pros: I like how the rivalries system was handled to affection in the season’s theme. Simpler locations to travel around the map. Also a lot of colour this season. I like the refresh the combat AR and weapons loop pool. I manged to complete getting the extra battle pass skins early this time. The Foundation and The Order came back that I used a lot in-game. The collabs skins were fun to collect from the idea shop. Exalted Ice King did work as the main nemesis & overall this season succeeded my expectations.

Cons: If was a failed to make the battle bus driveable in the air. A shame the looney tunes didn’t add that much to the season. Dasha didn’t work for me as a skin. The V-Changes were unnecessary to change. & it’s failure for building tensions between the two factions.

Season Rating: 8 out of 10 Stars
