Criminal Record Season 2 Review by Ryan Balkwill

Plot: In Season 2 of Criminal Record, detectives June Lenker (Cush Jumbo) and Daniel Hegarty (Peter Capaldi) are forced into an uneasy alliance after a young man is stabbed to death at a political rally. What starts as a murder investigation quickly escalates into a dangerous undercover operation to foil a far-right bomb plot in London.

Season 2 of Criminal Record was Really Good.

Pros: I was feeling more engaged with the drama happening this season. Daniel & June feel distant to working together most of this season. Billy turns out my consistent standout for me. The case did keep intriguing as it went a long. It was directed very well. Cosmo turns out to be a entertaining villain. & the finale was explosive & dramatic.

Cons: There was too Many conspiracies I struggle to keep up with throughout. At times the pacing can be slow. I didn’t like the newest side characters & a sudden death of Leo in the finale.
